ProCredit Bank Supports Art

At the end of December, ProCredit Bank opened an art exhibition in its Lviv and Bila Tserkva branches under the auspices of its project, ProCredit Art. ProCredit Bank is holding exhibitions of Ukrainian artwork in Yalta, Uzhhorod, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Bila Tserkva and Kramatorsk to popularize Ukrainian art and support Ukrainian artists. The bank is sponsoring a similar initiative in Georgia to promote Georgian art and artists.

Victor Pinchuk Foundation Improves Life for Large Families

Victor Pinchuk Foundation has announced that it has either renovated or purchased housing for 265 children from 25 large Ukrainian families in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts. The project, initiated by Ukrainian President Victor Yushchenko and carried out with UAH 7 mln from VPF, helped these families celebrate the New Year in new homes.

UN Launches Ecological Ad Campaign in Ukraine

In December, theUnited Nations Office in Ukraine launched the largest social advertising campaign on ecological issues in the country. The campaign, You are Dangerously Armed, will be conducted within the framework of the national GO GREEN! campaign to draw attention to ecological issues in Ukraine and change society’s attitude toward exploiting the environment and natural resources. The campaign will be splashed across 350 billboards in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Odessa, Simferopol and Kharkiv. Four different ads will feature messages on energy efficiency, water conservation, clean air and recycling.
