EXPERTS OFFER TO LAUNCH SIMPLIFIED VARIANT OF HACCP

The report, prepared by the non-governmental organization Transparency International – Georgia, points at reasonability of launching in Georgia the simplified variant of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points system (HACCP). The matter concerns so-called “Salford System”, developed in the International Centre for HACCP Innovation at Salford University in Britain.

PREMIUM, ATTRACTED BY IRAO, INCREASED 2.4 TIMES IN 2008

Financial Supervision Agency reports that premium, attracted in 2008 by the insurance company Irao, made up 37.5 million lari, which is 2.4 times more compared with the year 2007. According to the attracted premium’s volume, Irao is on the fourth position among 13 insurance companies, operating on Georgian insurance market.

PREMIUM, ATTRACTED BY SAKHALKHO DAZGVEVA, INCREASED 5.6 TIMES IN 2008

Financial Supervision Agency reports that premium, attracted in 2008 by Sakhalkho Dazgveva (People’s Insurnace, daughter insurance company of Sakhalkho Banki (People’s Bank)), made up 24.2 million lari, which is 5.6 times more compared with the previous year. According to the attracted premium’s volume, Sakhalkho Dazgveva occupies the fifth position among 13 insurance companies, operating on the Georgian insurance market.

JSC BAGRATIONI-1882 TO START EXPORT TO SEVERAL COUNTRIES THIS YEAR

JSC Bagrationi-1882 (sparkling wine producer) told Sarke that it plans to start export to several countries this year and holds negotiations with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Poland and Turkey for that end. In January, the company already delivered 21,700 bottles to the US.

JSC ENERGY INVEST LOST AN ACTION AGAINST REGULATING COMMISSION FOR THE SECOND TIME

Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulating Commission reported that Kutaisi Appeal Court rejected today appeal of JSC Energy Invest. Accordingly, Kutaisi City Court’s judgment of March 9, which confirmed the fine, imposed on the company by the Commission, was left standing.

AUCTION ON LLC AGGREGATE PROPERTY WILL NOT HELD

Tbilisi Regional Center of Georgian Finance Ministry’s Incomes Service told Sarke that auction, which was re-announced on LLC Aggregate property, will not held on April 30. The reason of it became covering of arrears by the LLC today.

REHABILITATION TO START ON PART OF SENAKI WATER SUPPLYING SYSTEM

Georgian Municipal Development Fund announced a tender on rehabilitation of the part of Senaki (Samegrelo – Zemo Svaneti region) water supplying system. Applications should be submitted through June 2.

TBILISI CITY HALL ANNOUNCED TENDER ON AUDIT SERVICE

Tbilisi City Hall announced a tender on audit of property, owned by Tbilisi self-governing bodies. Tender, which is divided into two lots, will be held on May 14.
