PRIME MINISTER CANDIDATE REPRESENTED THE NEW MINISTER CANDIDATES OF THE GOVERNMENT TO THE BUREAU

Prime Minister designate Grigol Mgaloblishvili named today the renewed composition of the Georgian governemnt at the Parliament’s bureau meeting. Changes applied to four ministries.

GEORGIAN AVIATION LEGISLATION TO BE HARMONIZED WITH EU’S ONE

As United Transport Administration informs, EU experts will work out necessary arrangements to bring legislation base of Georgian aviation into correspondence with EU aviation legislation and JAR (Joint Aviation Requirements).

Georgian side requested EU to provide support in the mentioned harmonization in April 2008.

ENERGY AND WATER SUPPLY REGULATING COMMISSION: REPRESENTATIVES OF KAZTRANSGAZ-TBILISI ILLEGALLY ASK CONSUMERS TO PAY FOR GAS METERS’ CHECKING

Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulation Commission announces that cases, when representatives of KazTransGaz-Tbilisi ask the consumers to pay for checking of the gas meters, became frequent in Tbilisi. At that, these employees of the company refer to allegedly existing decision of the Commission.

SAKARTVELOS BANKI FINISHED Q3 WITH 4.87M LARI LOSSES

Sakartvelos Banki (Bank of Georgia) finished 3 quarters of 2008 with 4.87 million lari losses. It should be mentioned that the same period of 2007 the bank had finished with profit of 35.1 million lari.

BANK CARTU FINISHED Q3 WITH PROFIT OF 4.1M LARI

According to bank Cartu, its net profit made up 4.1 million lari by the state of September 30, 2008. This figure made up 10.3 million lari in the same period of 2007.

BANK REPUBLIC FINISHED Q3 WITH PROFIT OF 1.65M LARI

According to bank Republic, its net profit made up 1.65 million lari by the state of September 30, 2008. This figure rate made up 3.97 million lari in last year’s same period.

LLC RICO EXPRESS STARTED PLACEMENT OF THE THIRD TRANCHE OF GOLDEN PROMISSORY NOTES

As LLC Georgian Investment Group (GIG) announced start of placement for the third tranche of golden promissory notes of LLC Rico Express (micro-financial organization). Placement is carried out through private offering again, and GIG is maintained as the placement manager.
