GEORGIA AND THE UK TO SIGN NEW AGREEMENT ON AIR COMMUNICATIONS

According to the Georgian United Transport Administration, Georgia and the UK will sign new intergovernmental agreement on air communication soon. The document was initialed on the meeting of Georgian and the UK aviation authorities, held in London on June 3-7.

GROWTH OF ADB CHARTERED CAPITAL TO REFLECT ON GEORGIA AS WELL

Kote Kintsurashvili, head of Finance Ministry Foreign Debt Department, reported that Asian Development Bank is going to increase its chartered capital by 200%. The decision is caused by increased demands for credit behind the crisis, Kintsurashvili said.

OIL-PRODUCTS PRODUCERS, IMPORTERS AND CONSUMERS UNION TO APPLY TO THE GOVERNMENT

Oil-Products Producers, Importers and Consumers Union requires to set norms on oil-products’ normal spoilage in terms of anti-crisis economic encouraging pack. The Union, which had raised the mentioned issue earlier as well, has submitted an appeal to the government now.

Economic Development Ministry has announced competition, aiming selection of banks or micro-finance organizations, which will serve “Cheap Credit” state program. The competition is scheduled for June 17.

Tender, announced by National Bank of Georgia (NBG) on banking system introducing, finished yesterday. According to the NBG, only one company applied to it.

VTB BANK GEORGIA TO RECEIVE FUNDING FORM VTB BANK AUSTRIA

VTB Bank Georgia announced that it is going to sign contract on credit line issuance with VTB Bank Austria. Georgian bank will receive 10 million EUR for documentary operations (letters of credit, guarantees) during trade funding.

SAKHALKHO BANKI ISSUED CONTACTLESS VISA CARD

Sakhalkho Banki (People’s Bank) informs that it offers contactless card Visa PayWave from today. To remind, Sakhalkho Banki announced on contactless card as late as March 26.

CONSTANTA ISSUES UNSECURED MINI-LOANS

Bank Constanta informed that it has started issuing new loans without guaranty in June. The matter concerns mini-loans with period of up to 1 year.

LLC UNIGRAIN GEORGIAN GROUP TO EXPAND GRAIN TERMINAL

LLC Unigrain Georgian Group plans to extend grain terminal until the end of year. Zurab Daraselia, deputy director of the company, told Sarke that as a result the terminal will be able to serve Kazakh wheat transit as well.

GEORGIAN RAILWAY TO RE-ANNOUNCE TENDER ON MULTY-RAILWAY PARK IN POTI

LLC Georgian Railway will re-announce tender on completion of 13-railway park construction in Poti. Irakli Ezugbaia, the LLC director general, has told Sarke that company Lazoinvest, winner of last year’s tender, failed to implement works, envisaged by the contract.

LLC INZHMSHENI-96 TO IMPLEMENT RECONSTRUCTION OF KUTAISI STATION

As LLC Georgian Railway told Sarke, Kutaisi passenger station will be repaired by LLC Inzhmsheni-96. The corresponding agreement was signed these days.

THE COURT REFUSED TO RETURN LEASED AREAS TO SONY CENTER, CAFÉ RUSTAVELI AND LLC LAZER-2

Press-service of Tbilisi City Court reported that the Court finished consideration of the claim of LLC Café Rustaveli, LLC Sony Center and LLC Lazer-2 on returning of the withdrawn leased areas. The Court has ruled to refuse the claim, saying that “there were not factual and legal foundation” for satisfaction.

THE COURT SEIZED SABA+’S CONSTRUCTION

Tbilisi City Court seized the elite house, which has been constructed by the company Saba+. One of the clients brought in an action against Saba+, demanding to return the cost of the flat and fines, envisaged by the agreement.

KAZAKH COMPANY IS INTERESTED IN LLC BATUMI TENNIS CLUB

Bankruptcy manager of LLC Batumi Tennis Club brought property of the company (hotel, tennis courts and café-bar) to auction for the fifth time already. Starting price is lowered this time to 3.9 million lari.

Tbilisi City Hall has informed Sarke that Irao won the tender on fire-engines’ insurance. Irao was rivaled by 3 competitors.

JSC MERKANI PROPERTY TO BE AUCTIONED FOR 882,770 LARI

Tbilisi Regional Center of Georgian Finance Ministry’s Revenue Service (Tax Inspection) has announced auction on JSC Merkani property. The starting price is set at 882,770 lari.
