FIMA Stock Monitor - Daily Report - July 21, 2008 Jul 22, 2008, 08:53 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews Daily comment:Тhe beginning of the week brought further growth on Zagreb Stock Exchange, as popular benchmark rose 0,8% to closing 3.637,5 points. Index heavyweight popular telecom operator HT (HT-R-A) attracted investor’s attention today, soaring by 0,7% on HRK 9,4 m turnover. Despite payment of HRK 2,4 bn dividend (HRK 29,56 per share) the Company is still loaded with cash with some HRK 4 bn on its balance sheet. The company already announced that they are looking for ways to optimize their balance sheet and we are expecting one of the options stated above to take place. In our opinion, extraordinary dividend payout is the most probable solution due to the fact that company has a history of paying extraordinary dividends. Oil company Ina (INA-R-A) share remained unchanged at HRK 2.930 as there wasn’t any price trigger like seven days ago, when Ina’s strategic partner MOL announced it will give voluntary bid for 30,1% of shareholders equity. Electric engineering holdi ng company Koncar elektroindustrija (KOEI-RA) announced far improved Q2 results. Sales rose by 16,2% yoy to HRK 725,7 million driven with 28,1% higher foreign sales. Operating income rocketed from HRK 0,9 million up to HRK 8,8 million or 883,5% yoy, while EBIT margin increased by 110 basis points to 1,2% consequently. EBITDA amounted to HRK 26,0 million (+ 62,9% yoy) and EBITDA margin improved to 3,6% vs. Q2 2007 2,6%. Net financial result positively reflected on bottom line result, soaring by 158,6% to HRK 21,2 million. Net income amounted to HRK 21,0 million what represents 232,3 yoy increase. Q2 earnings per share is at HRK 8,2. Significantly improved profitability didn’t left investors impassive and KOEI share rose by 3,6% on 0,6 m HRK turnover. link
