After the initial bullish momentum, popular benchmark declined to eventually end the day 0,2% in black mainly due to the drop of index heavy weight, integrated telecom HT (HT-R-A). HT lost 9,5% as today was ex-dividend day. Stock turnover amounted to HRK 128,8 million. Largest Croatian retail chain Konzum (KNZMR- A) announced that stock split will be carried on April 23rd. Each stock with par value of HRK 1.800 will be split into 180 new stocks with par value of HRK 10. The split will increase liquidity of the share which today ended at HRK 59.897,99, up by 8,9% from yesterday’s close. Other companies from Agrokor concern also had a winning day as bottled water producer Jamnica (JMNC-R-A) rocketed 18,8%, kiosk chain Tisak (TISK-R-A) soared by 3,1% while meat products producer Belje (BLJE-R-A) and frozen & ice cream producer Ledo (LEDO-R-A) rose 2,6% and 2,7% respectively. Slatinska banka (SNBA-R-A ) informed about court decision to overrule the law suit from Beograd based Jugobanka claiming €17 million, or some 11,4% of SNBA’s assets. Construction sector led today’s bullish run with construction engineering company Ingra (INGR-R-A) spiked 8,8%, construction consultancy company (IGH-R-A) gained 1,8% while heavy constructor and power trunk producer Dalekovod (DLKV-R-A) jumped by 7,5%. Besides having project pipeline of some HRK 5 bn, another upside for Dalekovod comes from the fact that it owns 15 daughter companies, with 100% stake in majority of them, and despite that, does not publish consolidated financial statements. Thus, we see some HRK 250 – 300 million consolidations upside on the sales side. link

The introduction of the fixing algorithm will lengthen the trading session and is expected to have a positive effect on liquidity as the transactions of the orders introduced in the pre-closing session, between 14:15 and 14:30, will be executed within closing, at 14:30. The close auction is an auction at a single price, which de termines the maximum volume that can be traded for the price settl by the auction. The close auction algorithm cannot be applied unless the best bid is higher than or equal with the best ask for the financial instrument. During Closing, the closing price and volume are calculated on the basis of the algorithm. There are identified the potential transactions, the financial instruments volume is being allocated and the transactions are closed.Flamingo share option planAccording to information released on Flamingo (FLA) website, shareholders of the consumer electronics company will be asked to approve in the GSM of April 23, among others, a Share Option Plan for the management for the period 2009-2012. The plan is an extension of the previously approved Share Option Plan and involves the repurchase of 28 million shares, some 3.6% of the share capital. The shares follow to be repurchased in 18 months after the publication of the shareholders decision in the Official Gazette. The price per share for the shares following to be repurchased stands i n the range RON 0.1 and RON 0.65. Each option allows for the purchase of one share and the options can be exercised latest on June 30, 2012 at a strike price of RON 0.378. link
