Conference "Shaping the EU Agenda 2009-2014"

demosEUROPA - Centre for European Strategy and the Office of the Committee for European Integration remind you about the conference on "New Agenda of the European Union 2009-2014", which will take place on 28 May 2009 in Centralna Biblioteka Rolnicza, Krakowskie Przedmieście Street No 66, Warsaw.
The discussion will feature members of the group of advisors to the Polish government on the EU presidency in 2011. The conference will be devoted to the main objectives and challenges of the European Union in the course of the next institutional cycle 2009-2014, that is after elections to the European Parliament and the nomination of the new European Commission. In the course of the first session of the conference, there will be a discussion on the issues of macroeconomic governance in the EU, new version of the Lisbon Strategy as well as energy and climate policy. The second part will focus on the foreign policy of the EU, including the EU’s role in the world and its initiatives addressed to the closes neighbours.
