Elana - Bulgaria Daily Report - Jan 17, 2008 Jan 18, 2008, 10:57 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews MARKET HIGHLIGHTSBSE slightly reversed but the negative bias is still obsessing the market. Most positions erased some of previous session’s losses but were away from their recent highs. The prices consolidated at these levels although some near term weakness is not excluded. The continuing declining of foreign markets additionally pressures the shares and made investors more cautious. Chimimport (CHIM: 12.83; +2.64%) was the most traded position, followed by Monbat (MONBAT: 25.92; +1.85%). All liquid positions opened high but the panic still dominate and prices retreated from their intraday peaks. http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/elana-bulgariadailyreport-jan17_2008-105256

FIMA Stock Monitor - Daily - Jan 17, 2008 Jan 18, 2008, 09:58 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews Daily comment:Investors’ optimistic sentiment stopped the decline of popular benchmark which started at the beginning of the week. On turnover of HRK 122,9 million, CROBEX increased by 0,6%. News that construction and consultancy company IGH (IGHR- A) is starting a joint venture in Russia, made this stock the most liquid issue today. IGH yesterday signed an agreement with President of Russian Engineering Academy for setting up new Institute of engineering. In this Moscow based JV project IGH will have mayor ownership (51%) while rest will be divided among Russian partners. Through this partnership IGH will enter on Russian market, where Federation Government plans to invest some Euro 1.500 bn in rebuilding and expanding infrastructure. Total investment in new Institute amounts to EUR 13,7 million, and projected sales in 3 – 5 year period should arise up to some EUR 140 million which represents around 1.5X of IGH 2007e sales. IGH price soared by 3,5% collecting HRK 19 mill ion turnover. Speculations that plastic producer Dioki (DIOK-R-A) will cut losses by HRK 23 million in 2007 moved price of this stock up by 1,2%. However, since the City of Zagreb decided to increase prices for communal services it is unlikely that company will have major improvements in financials during the 2008. The company is currently in a process of restructuring with aim to increase production capacity which should be finished in 2009. With increased capacity the Co might successfully combat increasing energy prices and became operating profitable. Court ruled in favor of Umag based tourism company Istraturist (ISTT-R-A) in case of EUR 15,5 million claim made by Nova Ljubljanska Banka from Slovenia. The claim dates back to financial agreements made in 1988-1991 period between Istraturist and Ljubljanska banka. Istraturist share soared by 3% collecting 0,4 m HRK turnover. http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/fimastockmonitor-daily-jan17_2008-095421
