FIMA Stock Monitor - Daily - Dec 18, 2007 Dec 19, 2007, 10:46 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews Daily comment:It was a quite an exciting day on Zagreb Stock Exchange. After spending whole morning in the negative territory, popular benchmark started to climb and ended session 2,1% higher near 5.000 pts level. The only “culprit” for sharp CROBEX recovery is new rulebook regarding additional investment criteria and restrictions for obligatory pension funds (PMF’S). According to this regulation, PMF’s can also invest into lower than official market tiers up to 15% of its assets or around HRK 3,0 billion. Selection criteria for those issues are mk cap larger than HRK 750 million or free float bigger than HRK 200 million. This official gazette announcement pushed index members up: telecom solutions provider Ericsson Nikola Tesla (ERNT-R-A) added 3,7%, preferred Adris (ADRSP- A) issue soared by 3,7%, building constructor Tehnika (THNK-R-A) by 3,3%, shipping company Atlantska plovidba (ATPL-R-A) increased by 2,3% and Zagrebačka bank (ZABA-R-A) by 3,4%. New 23 million w orth contract with telecom operator BH Telecom was additional trigger for ERNT share. With latest price growth this issue is far away from oversold territory as its RSI reached 62.09. Consulting company Ingra (INGR-R-A) and Croatian telecom (HT-R-A) were only “millionaires” with price decline today. Those issues plunged 1% and 1,4% respectively. Commercial court registered Uljanik plovidba (ULPL-R-A) capital increase up to HRK 160 million, divided into 400k shares with par value of HRK 400. It is reasonable expect increased supply of this issue in further period. ULPL share today remained unchanged on minimum turnover. Closing price of HRK 3.099 gives more than 30% up-side potential. http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/fimastockmonitor-daily-dec18_2007-104249
Erste Securities - Croatian Equity Daily - Dec 19, 2007 Dec 19, 2007, 11:18 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews MARKET COMMENTThe Croatian equity market on Tuesday was under great influence from the decision by the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) to allow Croatian pension funds to invest in shares listed on the joint stock companies market (JDD market). The market opened rather bearish, with low investor activity. However, after HANFA’s decision was announced, the market turned around, with prices and liquidity surging. The CROBEX went up from negative territory to almost 3% intraday growth and closed with 2.1% growth at the end of the day. Shipping company Atlantska plovidba attracted great attention among pension funds, recording all-time high daily turnover and gaining 2.3%. Ericsson Nikola Tesla and Adris also reacted positively, gaining 3.7% each. On the other side, the new market’s development seemed to have a negative influence on some of the stocks listed on the Official market, like Magma and T-Hrvatski Telekom, which lost 4.1% and 1.4%, respectively . http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/erstesecurities-croatianequitydaily-dec19_2007-111335
