FIMA Stock Monitor - Daily - Feb 7, 2008 Feb 08, 2008, 11:25 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews Daily comment:The domestic stock exchange experienced another depressive day as the mix of different factors pulled the domestic benchmark down by 3,1% to close at 4.164,4 points. As it was expected, but certainly did not helped the market, the European Central bank did not lowered its referent interest rate, while The bank of England lowered its benchmark interest rate by 0,25% to 5,25%. Another declining facto that could have crucial impact on domestic stock today, are certificates traded on The Vienna and Stuttgart stock exchange. Their strike prices were reached today, so those products became worthless for their buyers and brought profit to its issuers. There was one of those certificates with HT as underlying asset at strike price of HRK 300. HT (HT-R-A) was heavily affected and fell below this point. However, it closed at HRK 298, down by 2,5%. Another issue that was probably impacted by certificates today is Dalekovod (DLKV-R-A). There was strike price HRK 1250 certif icate with Dalekovod as underlying assets on the Vienna SE. Dalekovod closed at HRK 1.210,1, down by 8,3%. Preferred Adris Group (ADRS-P-A) stock fell by 4,0% to HRK 417,5 facing a certificate strike price of HRK 433. There is another ADRS certificate with strike at 410. For all of mentioned stocks, we see significant growth potential, and thus find current price levels good to be long on those issues. We base our facts on limiting impact of eventual global slow down on Croatian economy and our picks. Other liquid issues also experienced losses. link
