The results of votes of "transparent districts" show the vast scale of falsifications

The project "Citizen-observer" consisted in an independent supervision of the lastest elections on December, 4th at the State Duma. Crews of participants of the project as observers from parties and representatives of mass-media were present the whole day in more than one hundred polling centers in Moscow and in almost 700 regional centers.

On December, 4th the headquarters have received about 300 messages about infringements on polling centers and pressure upon observers. Participants of the project have submitted a lot of complaints to local election commissions, some applications also have been submitted to the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the facts of rough infringement of electoral legislation .

For a few number of centers we succeeded in preventing from infringement. Thanks to participants’ clear position on principle, we managed to establish real results of voters’ will (as opposed to results of the "elections" received after falsifications and other infringements), and also data about the impact of different types of other infringements on results of elections.

Today, on December, 7th at 1 pm, in the premises of society "Memorial" a press conference will be held during which the first results of work of "Citizen-observer" about the lastest elections for the State Duma will be presented .
