Elana - Bulgaria Daily Report - Jan 24, 2008 Jan 25, 2008, 11:03 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews MARKET HIGHLIGHTSBulgarian stock market continued to weaken despite the good news from the foreign markets. Investors are still obsessed by the panic and sold most liquid positions. Petrol (PET: 4.86; -11.64%) and Bulgarian American Credit Bank (BACB: 58.03; -9.34%) pushed down SOFIX. Central Cooperative Bank (CCB: 7.07; - 9.12%) also was under pressure. Technical problems with the on-line system COBOS contributed for the low activity. The main sell-offs are from foreign investors due to the portfolio liquidation.Mekom announced that the IPO is postponed with 44 days due to the recent market turmoil. The already received orders for subscription of shares will be treated as indicative and are subject to an update between March, 05 and March, 07 under the conditions and time limits defined in the Memorandum. FFBH - Bulgaria Morning Update - Jan 25, 2008 Jan 25, 2008, 13:11 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews MARKET WRAP-UPStrong sell pressure in a large number of issues pushed all indices down on Thursday. Although the session started quite positive, later during the day the majority of the issues declined bellow the line after the huge offering from a single local broker. Then the buyers made some defensive steps and “helped” the prices to drop. At the end SOFIX closed at 1321.03 bps (-4.36%), BG40 reached 392.09 bps (-1.82%) and the equally weighted BGTR30 lost 2.66% to 864.70. Even the newly listed Enemona (ENM) suffered from the sell pressure and declined below the IPO price of BGN16.80, although at the time of the offering the issue was more than 30% oversubscribed. In the top losers list were M+S Hydraulics (MCH, BGN 9.26, - 16.58%), Sparky Eltos (ELTOS, BGN 12.55, -10.63%), Sopharma (SFARM, BGN 6.70, -8.22%) and Petrol (PET, BGN 4.90, - 4.85%). http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/ffbh-bulgariamorningupdate-jan25_2008-130328

Raiffeisen Capital & Investment - Investment Daily Romania - Jan 25, 2008 Jan 25, 2008, 11:16 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews Trader’s CommentThursday was so far the best trading session of 2008, both in terms of liquidity (EUR 23.7 mn) and also in terms of indices appreciations. BET rose 2.6%, BET-C went up 2.2% and BET-FI surged 5.2%. Unlike on Wednesday, when the opening was optimistic, but the enthusiasm faded in half an hour, Thursday started with small, but healthier appreciations, and once the investors saw the market can sustain the growth, they continued to buy. It is worth mentioning though that the European markets were also posting consistent gains. On the other hand, the large trading volume might indicate that the real buyers emerged. As always in good days, the SIFs totaled transactions of EUR 9.4 mn, over 40% of the total volume. SIF5 detached itself among the SIFs with over 4 mn shares changing hands (EUR 3.7 mn), while SIF3 registered the smallest volume (1.7 mn shares) but also the largest gain (6.6% dod).
