FFBH - Bulgaria Weekly Update - Dec 03 - 07, 2007 Dec 11, 2007, 09:28 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews MARKET WRAP-UPThe first week of December finished slightly negative as SOFIX slipped to 1,760.28 bps (- 0.2% WoW) and BG40 lost 1.8% WoW to 531.90 bps. During last week the most liquid companies kept a tight price range. Average daily volume remained relatively low which lead us to the conclusion that most investors remain aside, uncertain about the end of the correction and focusing on the continuing IPO wave. The absence of corporate news will keep this situation unchanged until the end of next week, at least, in our opinion. Among the top performers was Economic and Investment Bank (BRIB) which jumped 5.1% WoW reflecting the transfer of almost 98% of the bank on Wednesday while among the losers were the gainers from previous two weeks. http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/ffbh-bulgariaweeklyupdate-dec03-07_2007-092422
Elana - Bulgaria Daily Report - Dec 10, 2007 Dec 11, 2007, 09:46 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews MARKET HIGHLIGHTSThe week begun with renewed wave of selling pressure. The volumes remained moderate as the main players were speculators. Only several positions attracted the market’s attention. Albena Invest Holding (ALBHL: 20.44; +0.74%) was traded in higher volumes than usual as three large deals boosted the company’s turnover. Petrol (PET: 4.30; -0.92%) was again subject of large package transactions and set up 10.7% from the daily turnover. Sparky Eltos (ELTOS: 16.43; +1.55%) erased some of its losses but is still 25% below the recent high as well as most companies. The level of BGN 16.00 provided good support for ELTOS shares. The banking sector closed in different directions. Bulgarian American Credit Bank (BACB: 78.22; +3.93%) outperformed in light volumes, whereas Central Cooperative Bank (CCB: 10.18; - 1.83%) lost ground. Stara Planina Hold (CENHL: 8.08; -3.00%) was the worst performer in industrial sector. The official results from the IPO of Billboard are for almost 14 times oversubscription at BGN 7.30. http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/elana-bulgariadailyreport-dec10_2007-094301
