Erste Securities - Croatian Equity Daily - Dec 10, 2007 Dec 10, 2007, 10:22 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews MARKET COMMENTCroatian equity market closed the week with another interesting trading day. High liquidity was accompanied by volatile stocks and intraday index turnarounds. The CROBEX opened the day with a strong 1% growth. Midday turned the CROBEX around and it sunk to negative territory reaching -1.6%. However, the index somewhat recovered and closed the day at 0.8%. Croatian equity market demonstrated its instability once again, this time caused probably by political uncertainty, since market turnarounds on Friday coincided with announcements on the progress of governance negotiations between political parties. Losses of Hidroelektra niskogradnja (-3.4%), INA (-2.4%) and Atlanstka plovidba (-2.3%) strongly contributed to index decrease. Although it surged in the first part of the day, highly volatile Institut gradjevinarstva Hrvatske lost 1.8%. Most liquid stock on Friday T-Hrvatski Telekom showed immunity to market instability and gained 2.9%. http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/erstesecurities-croatianequitydaily-dec10_2007-101831
