Industrial Holding Bulgaria (IHLBL: 7.90, -0.50%) was among several stocks in investors’ focus. Large cross deal at BGN 7.90 supported IHLBL’s activity. 32% from the capital of Katex (KTEX: 12.80; -1.46%) was transferred in two deals at BGN 12.80. Recently, KTEX was subject of another deal for 59% from the capital on block segment. Enemona (ENM: 20.51, - 0.15%) continued to slip in modest trading. Central Cooperative Bank (CCB: 7.00; +0.29%) announced that the bank acquired Macedonian Sileks Bank after a tender offer for 62.57% from the capital.The news didn’t influence CCB’s price and the bank continued to stay in the recent range. Billboard (BOARD: 8.79; +2.69%) continued the positive run. link

Volumes slightly increased as the buyers were definitely prepared for the sell pressure and were just waiting for the opportunities to appear. Still the majority of the issues closed in the red zone thus pushing the indices down. SOFIX declined 0.57% to 1413.18 bps with the major changes coming from Bulgarian American Credit Bank (BACB, BGN 66.00, -2.94%) and Toplivo (TOPL, BGN 21.62, -2.61%). Among the few significant gainers were Petrol (PET, BGN 7.10, +3.50%) and Fazerles (FZLES, BGN 232.00, +3.06%) but their up moves were more than offset and BGTR30 and BG40 closed at 922.78 bps (-0.42%) and 408.24 bps (-0.41%) respectively. Descent volume was registered in First Investment Bank (FIB, BGN 9.90, -2.94%) where more than 66k shares changed hands. The interest towards vouchers seemed to be declining as only 76k PKB were traded with the closing staying at BGN 0.4900. link

Stock turnover amounted HRK 96,6 million with 20 issues collecting more than million kuna. Construction and engineering company INGRA (INGR-R-A) gained the most among most liquid companies while all millionaires experienced increase in price. Dubrovnik based Atlantska plovidba (ATPL-R-A) reported that sale of 24 year old ship Sv. Vlaho has been completed. Its share rose by 3,8%. Uljanik plovidba (ULPL-RA) continued to rise on proposal for recapitalization. Collecting HRK 10,6 million turnover its share recorded 1,2% increase in price. Other shipping companies also gained on value today as Zadar based Tankerska plovidba (TNPL-R-A) added 7,8% and Split based Jadroplov (JDPL-R-A) 2,8%. Construction sector increased significantly being led by INGRA jumping 11,5%, heavy constructor and power trunk producer Dalekovod (DLKV-R-A) soaring 6,2%, and construction consultancy company IGH (IGH-R-A) gaining 1,7%. Integrated telecom company HT (HT-R-A) passed HRK 300 mark topping the liquidity board with HRK 12,3 million turnover. Company announced a release of audited annual results for 28th of February. Largest Croatian bank Zagrebacka banka (ZABA-R-A) added 4%. ZABA currently holds approximately 24% of the market if measured in total assets, total deposits and total placements to clients. Despite placements growth restrictions and increasing competition, we estimate that bank will manage to reach cca 30% better bottom line result, confirming its leading position on Croatian market. Croatian Employment Service reported first release of Employment and unemployment trends stating that number of unemployed people have decreased 12,7% yoy. link

SIFs liquidity was still low, transactions summing EUR 2.85 mn, some 23% of the total volume.BET climbed 3.3%, also seeing the highest growth since January 25. SNP contributed to the rise in BET surging 5.3%, on a good liquidity compared with the recent days. BRD also jumped 5.6% following the announcement of the 2007 preliminary results. It is noticeable that soon after the opening, when BRD share posted an upside of 3.3%, some investors sold to mark the profits. Still, the share resisted the pressure and mounted even higher, closing at RON 19 per share, on a very good liquidity, almost 200,000 shares changing hands, which made it the most traded share of the day. link
