Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — MPs f Legislation Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan considered draft laws “On introduction of changes and amendments to Tax Code of Uzbekistan” and “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with improvement of tax legislation”.

The documents introduce changes and amendments to legislation, directed at improving tax administration in Uzbekistan, strengthening responsibility from tax evasion and single interpreting of legislation norms.

The draft laws envisage other changes and amendments directed at ensuring direct action of Tax Code norms, the press service of the Legislation Chamber said.

It added that the law and “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with improvement of tax legislation” envisages introduction of changes and amendments to the Administrative Responsibility Code and the Law “On state tax service”.

MPs introduced proposals and recommendations to improve the documents. The Legislative Chamber approved the laws with proposed changes. The laws will be directed to Senate for approval.
