FFBH - Bulgaria Weekly Update - Apr 27-30, 2009 May 08, 2009, 07:42 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews MARKET WRAP-UPIndexes moved modestly during the 27-30 Apr week as about 50% of the relatively high weekly volume (BGN 17m) was attributable to bond trades on Wednesday (29 Apr). Gains registered SOFIX to 358.51 (+1.2% WoW) and BGTR30 to 262.38 (+0.9% WoW) while BG40 and BGREIT declined to 99.60 (-0.3% WoW) and 38.99 (-0.8% WoW), respectively. The BSE sentiment during the week was mainly driven by the moves of the international indexes. Accordingly, BSE indexes (except for BGREIT) increased on Thursday as market participants gained confidence from the positive moves worldwide despite the fact that the large majority of the Q1 results showed “impressive” declines in revenues and net income. We expect the North move to persist during the current week (only two trading sessions on Thursday and Friday) provided that foreign markets continue to import positive news in Bulgaria. >http://seenews.com/news/latestnews/ffbh-bulgariaweeklyupdate-apr27-30_2009-174417
