The report “The System of Impunity in the North Caucasus (2009-2010) -How Does it Function? Abductions and Disappearances of People in the North Caucasus in 2009. Sabotage of Investigation of Criminal Cases in 2009-2010” (in English) details the abductions and violent disappearances of individuals in the region in 2009-2010. The principal part of the work are documents obtained during the monitoring of human rights violations in the North Caucasus, documents received by the HRC Memorial as a result of petitions to the European Court of Human Rights and information from joint mobile action units of human rights activists.

This report was presented at a press-conference “Situation with human rights in the North Caucasus: PACE estimations and reality” which took place on June 17, 2010 in Moscow.
