The people of Bosnia and Herzegovina will have their first chance to see "Tobacco Roads", the latest documentary produced by Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) and the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIN) in Sarajevo. The Bosnian premier of "Tobacco Roads” documentary is Saturday June 12, 2010 at 2200 on BHT1. The film is also going to be screened on June 17, 2010 at 2200 on TVSA.

Tobacco Roads is the untold story of the worldwide illegal business of smuggled cigarettes and the role that the Balkans and Eastern European countries play in the multibillion dollar business. The film features a former smuggler who enriched himself in cigarette deals and today as a mayor runs the town from which he used to run the illicit trade.

The reporters from OCCRP and CIN have taken the illicit tobacco road all the way to the customers.

The documentary "Tobacco Roads” debuted in March at the Festival of Documentary Film in Kiev, where it received a warm welcome by the audience. Following the premiere, several European television stations showed interest for screening the film in their programs.
