Yesterday, BSE indices closed mixed, with BET losing 3.41% to 2,918.33 points whilst instead BET-FI posted an increase of 4.31% as SIF Banat Crisana (SIF1) jumped 7.14% to RON 0.9; SIF Transilvania (SIF3) climbed 3.64% and SIF Muntenia (SIF5) rose by 3.80%. In the banking sector, Banca Transilvania (TLV) lost 9%, while BRD-GSG (BRD) dropped by almost 5%. Today, both TLV and BRD will be suspended for SGAs, while Banca Carpatica (BCC) resumes trading following the same issue. Liquidity improved considerably compared to previous trading session, reaching RON 30.23m (EUR 7.15m), with daily traded volumes stood at 59.17m, 34% being generated by SIFs.

MoH: Serbia ready for swine flu
