SOFIX added 0.9% despite the weakness of Sopharma, Corporate Commercial Bank and Industrial Holding Bulgaria. Most blue chips gained but losers outpaced gainers in terms of overall volumes by 3 to 2. This is a clear sign that the market is still susceptible to further losses despite the 20% fall from the beginning of the month. Bid orders are very scarce as speculators have been swept away from the last sell-off and institutional buyers are waiting for larger packages at better price levels. Among the most volatile positions in SOFIX were Monbat, insurer Euro Ins and construction holding Enemona, which all jumped after the previous session weakness. Albena soared 9% but remained in the broad spread. The infrastructure company Moststroy fell 11% and weighted negatively on BGTR30. link
