There were 129 (48%) meetings with overnight stays and 138 (52%) without them. The total number of days at business meetings was 644. Each meeting was held 2 days on the average. The number of participants at all meetings was 17 308; the number of domestic participants was 14 290 (83%), while the number of foreign ones was 3 018 (17%).According to professional organisers, the most meetings, 140 of them (52%), were organised by enterprises.In July 2008, the turnover of 12 213 819 kuna was generated from business meetings. Out of the total turnover, 10 111 416 kuna (83%) was generated from meetings with overnight stays and 2 102 403 kuna (17%) from meetings without overnight stays.In the period from January to July 2008, there were 3 625 business meetings held in the Republic of Croatia. Out of this number, there were 1 833 (51%) meetings with overnight stays and 1 792 (49%) without them. The total number of days at business meetings was 7 330. Business meetings were attended by 289 125 participants: 253 482 (88%) domestic and 35 643 (12%) foreign ones.In the period from January to July 2008, the total turnover generated from all business meetings held in the Republic of Croatiawas 148 431 727 kuna. Out of this sum, 125 281 249 kuna (84%) was generated from meetings with overnight stays and 23 150 478 kuna (16%) from meetings without overnight stays.

According the data from the State Statistical Office in 2007 the number of dwellings in state property is 5 691, with total surface area of 283 592 m2. During 2007 306 dwellings are built.In the last 30 years, the situation with dwellings in state property has gone trought many changes. The largest intensity of built dwellings in state property was in the period between 1980 and 1990 year. In 1990 this number has reached up to 87 452 dwellings with total surface area of 4 665 417 m2, and average surface area of the dwellings of 53.3 m2. The largest amount of dwellings built during one year was in 1983, that is 7 623 dwellings, with total surface area of 437 651m2, and average surface area of the dwellings of 57.4 m2. The largest amount of disposed and demolished dwellings was in the period between 1990 and 1995 year.
