In terms of the survey, held by Transparency International Georgia, experts named those measures, which should be taken in some fields (privatization system as well) in order to avoid corruption. Davit Narmania (Caucasian Institute for Economic and Social Research) thinks that current privatization system needs total revision.
EXPERTS TALK ABOUT NECESSITY OF TRANSPARENCY OF STATE PROCUREMENTS
Almost all respondents, surveyed by Transparency International Georgia, underlined that transparency of state procurements is the key factor for fight with corruption in this field. As Giorgi Tsimintia (Young Economists’ Association of Georgia) noted, lack of transparency and information in this field cause many questions.
HEAD OF ICC GEORGIA CALLS THE OPPOSITION TO DIALOGUES INSTEAD OF PROTEST ACTIONS

4.4M EUR TO BE ALLOTTED FOR ECONOMIC PROJECTS IN 3 REGIONS, SUFFERED DURING RUSSIAN AGGRESSION

BASISBANK OPENED A NEW SERVICE-CENTER
Basisbank opened new service-center in Tbilisi today, which is located in the hotel Bazaleti Palace in Ortachala. The bank notes that this is the 19th service-center in Tbilisi.
REHABILITATION OF SMALL HES IN MISAKTSIELI COST $700,000
A small HES (hydroelectric station) was opened today in the village Misaktsieli (Mtskheta district), rehabilitation of which cost $700,000. From the total sum, $150,000 was allotted as grant in terms of USAID-funded program on rural energy development.

Tbilisi government brought to auction non-agricultural land plots, located in various districts of Tbilisi. Number of offered lots makes up 263 in total.
