306.6M LARI IS MOBILIZED FROM OIL PRODUCTS’ IMPORT DURING 9 MONTHS OF 2008

As Income Service of the Finance Ministry reports, 306.6 million lari is mobilized from oil products’ import during January-September 2008. This rate exceeds previous year’s same figures by 21%.

LLC European Service-Center will deliver 31,000 sleepers to LLC Georgian Railway by the end of December. Cost of the Georgian Railway’s order is 2.45 million lari.

LLC POULTRY GEORGIA INCREASED SALES BY 15% DURING A YEAR

As Kakha Megrelishvili, head of marketing service of LLC Poultry Georgia (egg and chicken meat producer), told Sarke, during 9 months of 2008, company’s sales increased by 15% compared with the same period of 2007.

Megrelishvili did not name the sum, but noted that income from eggs sales made up 20 million lari in 2007, while from chicken – 6.5 million lari.

ELIT ELECTRONICS COMPLETED RETIREMENT OF 1-YEAR BONDS, ISSUED IN 2007

JSC Elit Electronics (chain of household appliances stores) completed retirement of 1-year bonds, issued in summer 2007. As director general of Elit Electronics Anzor Kokoladze told Sarke, the company paid less than $1 million in total, as less than 1,000 bonds were placed.
