TBC BANK INCREASED COMMISSION RATE WHILE CASHING TBC CARD
TBC Bank announced that commission rate on money withdraw with TBC Card (credit cards Visa Classic, Visa Gold, MC Standard and MC Gold) increased from today. In ATMs of TBC Bank and VTB Bank the commission rate makes up 1.9% (instead of former 1%), while minimal service fee – 2 lari (instead of 1 lari).
BANK REPUBLIC FOLLOWS ITS STRATEGY TO OPEN ONE BRANCH PER MONTH
Bank Republic opened today new branch in Tbilisi (Ortachala district), which became its 45th branch countrywide. In the end of January, the bank had opened branch in Sanzona, another district of Tbilisi.

ARCI TO START CONSTRUCTION OF DWELLING HOUSE IN VAKE NEXT WEEK
Construction company Arci announced that construction of the dwelling house in Tbilisi elite district Vake (Chavchavadze Avenue, in front of the Park Vake) will start from the next week. Works should be finished in 1.5 years.
ELECTRIC CAR-REPAIR PLANT WORKS AT ORDERS FROM ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN
Tbilisi JSC Electric Car-Repair Plant announced that works are underway, in terms of the orders from Armenia and Azerbaijan. Orders should be completed by the end of 2009.
AMERICAN GUSTAVSON ASSOCIATES FINISHED FEASIBILITY STUDY OF GAS STORAGE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
Fund Millennium Challenge Georgia (MCG) announced that the US company Gustavson Associates will submit by the end of February the final report on results of feasibility study of the gas storage construction project. Location of the gas storage will be selected by Georgian Energy Ministry in April 2009 (sites in Ninotsminda, Rustavi and Samgori are under consideration).
VNIPITRANSGAZ FINISHED REHABILITATION DESIGN OF 50-KM NAVTLUGI-SAGURAMO SECTION OF GAS MAIN
Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation announced that Ukrainian company Vnipitransgaz has completed rehabilitation design of 50-km Navtlugi-Saguramo section of the gas main pipeline. Cost of contract with the company made up $195,000.
REHABILITATION OF RIKOTI TUNNEL TO START IN SUMMER
As Georgian Roads Department told Sarke, rehabilitation of Rikoti tunnel, connecting western and eastern parts of the country, will start in summer after finishing of the project works. Rehabilitation works will last 2 years.

Gamgeoba (local administration) of Kazbegi (Mtskheta-Mtianeti region) announced a tender on rehabilitation of the water supplying system and its headgate. The tender is divided into 10 lots.

JSC WISSOL PETROLEUM GEORGIA TO ALLOT $3M FOR DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS INFRASTRUCTURE
JSC Wissol Petroleum Georgia announced that it is going to spend $3 million in total in development of the sports infrastructure. In terms of Tbilisi sports infrastructure development project, the company has already totally rehabilitated the football school Avaza.
