VIENNA, 11 November 2010 - The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister and Secretary of State Kanat Saudabayev, will deliver a speech to the OSCE Permanent Council on Monday in Vienna.
Saudabayev is expected to discuss preparations and expectations for the upcoming OSCE Summit, to be held 1-2 December in Astana, Kazakhstan’s capital. The Summit will be seventh in the history of the OSCE and its predecessor, the CSCE. The last OSCE Summit was held in 1999 in Istanbul.
Journalists are invited to cover the speech, set to start at 11 a.m. on Monday, 15 November, in the Hofburg Congress Centre’s Neuer Saal. Registration via email to press@osce.org by 9 a.m. Monday is required.
