Tomorrow, on May 28, 2010, at 1 pm press-conference New Attacks at Jury Trial will take place at the Independent press-center.

The organizers are Independent Legal Council of experts (NEPS), Human Rights Center Memorial, Moscow Helsinki Group.

The participants of the conference are:

Sergey Antonov – a lawyer of Igor Izmestiev, an ex-senator of Bashkortostan;

Magamed Abubakarov – a lawyer of Rasul Kudayev, accused of the attack at Nalchik (Kabardino-Balkaria) in 2005;

Yuriy Kostanov – a lawyer of Farkhat Faizullin, convicted of preparation of an extremist group and assistance in terrorist activity;

Sergey Pashin – an author of the Jury Trial Law, a member of NEPS;

Mara Polyakova – chair of NEPS, a member of the Society Institutions and Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation;

Alexander Cherkasov – a member of the Board of HRC Memorial, expert of the Hot Spots program;

Lyudmila Alekseyeva – chair of the Moscow Helsinki group;

Eldar Esangulov – chair of the Bashkortostan department of the All-Russia movement For Human Rights.
