- President of Lithuania to visit NATO
The President of Lithuania, Her Excellency Mrs. Dalia Grybauskaitē, will visit the NATO Headquarters on Wednesday, 28 April 2010. She will meet with the Secretary General, Mr. Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and address the North Atlantic Council.

NATO Secretary General welcomes US-Russia arms control deal
On behalf of NATO, I warmly welcome the agreement between the United States and Russia to substantially reduce the number of nuclear warheads in their respective stockpiles. This is an important contribution to arms control, and an inspiration for further progress.
NATO’s new Strategic Concept to be discussed in Moscow
From 9 to 12 February 2010, the Group of Experts on the NATO’s new Strategic Concept will visit Moscow at the invitation of the Russian Federation. As part of the reflection period, the group, under the leadership of Dr. Madeleine Albright, former US Secretary of State, will participate in discussions with Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and Secretary of the National Security Council, Nikolay Patrushev and will meet with the members of the Duma, the Lower House of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Agreement reached on NATO-Russia military cooperation
On 26 January, the NATO-Russia Council, meeting at the level of military representatives, agreed on a framework for NATO-Russia military-to-military cooperation. All 29 members also exchanged views on the way ahead for practical activities in the field of logistics, combating terrorism, search and rescue at sea, and counter piracy.
