BIOGRAPHY OF THE BAND

Studying in the 10-th class, the fan amateur of heavy metal, Korotkov Dmitriy organized his own group. The project was successful and commercial. After leaving school Dmitriy has left this group. After his leaving the rock-group project existed as early as one half-year and also broke up. Later he still tried to base a number of other rock-group projects, but they appeared unsuccessful. Then he entered in Tashkent Institute of Business and Foreign economic Relations. On time of study’ music was overlooked. After termination of the first rate, he was automatically transferred to Tashkent State Institute of Law. In the year 1997 he graduated. The next year, after termination of institute, he has acted to work in Office of Public Prosecutor of one of areas of Tashkent. Being at work, he bought a newspaper with the announcements and during a lunch break, read one of the announcements; one guy, who wanted to collect the project. They phoned and met. The purpose of the project was simple - to base own rock - group. This was realized later.

These years, studying in the Tashkent Motor-car-road Institute, Alex, too, for a long time, wanted to collect his own group, with the adherent, school friend - Yuriy. Coming across the announcement of that guy in the newspaper, Alex decided to phone. After meeting, through him Dmitriy and Alex got acquainted with each other. By getting acquainted Dmitriy has offered to execute songs in English. Alex thought that was very necessary as desirable, because he himself tested huge sympathies to Western rock music and aspired to create the similar, English rock-group project.

The members of the group were quickly generated, but quickly have broken up, and by not making any musical material. From the former cast only Dmitriy and Alex remained. Possessed by the idea of the creation of an English rock-group project in Uzbekistan, they together began to search for new members.

In the musical shop Dmitriy casually meets Nazarov Victor, who appears to be a guitar-man and Dmitriy offers him to participate in the rock-group. 25 of November 1998 - is the date of formation of rock-group "NightWinD". In the beginning the rock-group except for the guitars did not have practically anything, and on time of rehearsals it was necessary to rent premises-room and equipment from other groups. On rehearsals, by noticing that Victor had an original timbre of voice, Dmitriy and Alex offered him to engage of voice /to sing/. After that Victor became the basic vocal of the rock-group. A bit later Alex introduced to the group his schoolfriend - Yuriy, in whom they found the bass-man of the rock-group.

The group named itself «Utopia», but by finding out that a group with such a name already exists in the USA, urgently it was necessary to replace it with «NightWinD». Hardly only beginning their work, the group already loses its basic premises-room of base. It was necessary to search for a new base, but all attempts unfortunately were unsuccessful. Not look on it, the rock- group is accepted for the first album, which was composed and is written down in home conditions, without the equipment, "on hearing" within the 3-rd month and was a "crude", not arranged, acoustic version.

Before these events, in 1997, by the invitation of RISSHO UNIVERSITY /one of the japanese students of this university/ Dmitriy went to Japan. On wires he gets acquainted with the General Director of Sony Music which suggested to Dmitriy to result an English rock - project from Uzbekistan. It also has become the basic purpose of Dmitriy - creation of the new English rock-group project. In Dmitriy again goes to Japan and meets a General Director of Sony Music. At that moment 2 songs: «The rhythm of my heart», «Devil’s dance», were written down only in a recording-studio. After half-a-year by them the answer has acted and it was offered to send the full album, which was written down in home conditions.

In connection with financial difficulties, the album «The Midnight Dances» was not written down in the studio. Only two songs, «Mistress» and «The rhythm of my heart» were written down in a recording-studio as a demoversion.

«NightWinD» has begun to write a new album but stopped due to the lost of a premises-room and lack of money and recording-studio.

Now the group does not enter the name and does not conduct tour activity. «NightWinD» is a studio’s band.

PRESENT YOURSELVES OUR READERS...?

Dmitriy: Hi! We are sorrow rock metal band Night WinD! We are from Tashkent! Tashkent is a capital of Uzbekistan! This is Central Asia!

Alex: I am Alex and guitar and songs writer.

WHO ARE NIGHT WIND AS BAND MEMBERS?

Dmitriy: Night WinD - Dmitriy Korotkov - drums, Alex Gutsov - guitars, Robert Burhanov - bass - guitar, Victor Nazarov - vocal!

WHEN DID YOU HAVE FOUNDED THE BAND?

Dmitriy: It was in 1998 year! We met in our city! I found a massage in local magazine one man invited to found the band! We met in local park and told about future band. We were young! I came and met one man and Alex! It was short talk about future band! We met again in couple days and said "Good buy!" After it I and Alex took decision to found a band! I net Victor in local music shop and told about future band! We net 3 - man and next time we can find new one guy! It was first cast of future rock band "Utopia"! We started to play together. After first day of playing our band left bass - guitarist! Alex invited his school friend! We started to play 4 men/ Day by day we play! We called our rock band Night WinD! Alex: We formed in 1998 year. The songs we made recording in 2001 years and later when we had possibility to come in recording label in our country. From 1998 till 2001 we had rehearsal time. We created 10 songs . The first singles are 3 songs that we showed in Japan in Sony Corporation. - "Devil’s Dances", "The rhythm of my heart", "Breath". During rehearsil times we had 3 period in a week plaing in studio 1 - 3 hours in a day. It was a little bit possibilty to play. But later we lost it all. Music must play 10 hours in a day without any problems for a life. It’s creation procces of music. In 2001 year we made recording new songs - "Mistress" and "The rhythm of my heart" (new version) they are far from old version in rehearsial room. "Intro" we made recording more latter.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO TALK ABOUT THE VERY FIRST BEGINNING OF BAND...?

Dmitriy: It was too difficult to do for us! We hadn’s possibilty, music equipmets and something else or somebody else who tried to help us! We did it by our selfs!

Alex: It was time of our firts step in rock as a rock — band!

WHAT’S ABOUT YOUR PREVIOUS RECORDING-EFFORTS?

Dmitriy: We played in a room and created "The Midnight’s Dances"!

Alex: We hard to played! More and more ....

WHAT’S ABOUT YOUR FOLLOWING?

Dmitriy: We want to end the recording our songs full with a new sound and creat new albumn.!

Alex: The first we want to make recording with a new more strong and moder sound our CD "The Midnight’s Dances" and make recording videos.

THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTS IN YOUR HISTORY?

Dmitriy: I had a lot local rock bands where I played before Night WinD! It was shorlty time as a drummer for me in another local bands! When we found Night WinD it was a dream for us to play real great music in our country and all over the world!

Alex: The most importan fact for is our music is not front title today. But we want it to do! In our country you cannot life as a rock musicman. We have our personal proffession and work and it’s far from music. Our music is our hobby that’s why we don’t collapse ’cause we don’t lose the wishes to play as Night WinD!

WHAT’S ABOUT THE PRODUCTION OF ALBUM?

Alex: We do it everyday!

Dmitriy: I am produccer of Night WinD! I do it everyday and everywhere! We sell our songs all over the world! Our songs are on the local radio - stations everywhere, reviews and interviews in magazines and so on!

ANY PARTICULAR CONCEPT CONCERNING THE ALBUM?

Dmitriy: It’s simply to understand us inside and outside our mind and souls!

Alex: The main idea of our CD is live of human being all over the world, the men and things around us everytime and everyday. It’s to understand deep and correctly us and nature aruond us.To clear up the questions about everything that hurts everybody and noone want to speak about problems!

WHAT’S THE MOOD OF IT?

Dmitriy: The mood of our songs are pain, love, helplesness, tears, suffesrings and so on of himan being!

Alex: The endless pain of our live!

THE MOST SALIENT ASPECTS OF YOUR NEW ALBUM?

Dmitriy: We started to make our new album "To the light"! But we stoped to do it! There are a lot of probles in the world and our live! we’d like to complite recording 2 CD soon!

Alex: We have to do it! We want to end the recording our new and old songs! Wait it please, wait!

WHAT’S ABOUT THE FEEDBACK?

Alex: The feedback is full! we have a lot of masagers from all over the world! There are a lot men and fans wrote in feedback of Night WinD!

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SOUND?

Dmitriy: We are looking for new sound everytime! We want to creat the great personal sound of Night WinD!

Alex: When I write the music of the songs I’d like to impress my mind and mind of our friends and fans!
