In October BV Business Center is proud to present an interview with the CEO and founder of Ganesh Management Ltd., a person who is both an inspiration and a role model for the young entrepreneurs but also for the veterans in business because after all we never stop learning through the course of our life.

Please tell us in a few rows the story of your life, like where were you born, where did you spend your childhood, which schools did you attend to?

First of all I’d like to thank Beatris for offering me this opportunity. I was born the 11.08.1966 in a small place in the North of Italy closed to Pistoia, perfectly in the mountain. My first 17 years were spent in Rieti, another very small town 80km far from Rome, the perfect Italian geographical centre. My life was absolutely common but from 1978 I was absolutely attracted by the rock music and guitar playing. My first school was the Professional Institute for Agriculture and I was graduated in the 1984. From 1984 till 1995 I was in Perugia at the University of Science and Agriculture but I never graduated, because I left the university at two exams to the end (crazy guy!) and my musical passion forced me to work in the music business starting up my own record label as:

From 1994 to 2004

Entrepreneur - Founder of Cryptic Noize Network - Band Manager - National/international Tour Manager - National Booking Manager - Distribution Manager - Marketing Manager - Promotional Manager - Stage Manager - Road Manager - Soundman - Executive Producer - Artistic Producer - Merchandiser - Sale Manager - Venue Manager - Gig Manager

Over 700 live music live performances produced - 55 Theatrical performances as Music and Audio consultant - 20.000 self produced record copies distributed worldwide - 25.000 imported record copies sold worldwide 2 Rock Venues managed - over 60 national/international tournee managed - 1 magazine edited and published - 5 CD’s self produced - 5 7" vinyl’s self produced - I worked running around Europe till 2004.

From 2002 to 2007

I worked as Audio and Music Consultant and Soundman at the University “ La Sapienza” in Rome at the Science and History Performance Department and I had a shining, fast career related at the theatrical performance production process but wasn’t my definitive way of life. I managed also for 2 rock venues contemporarily….then in the 2005 I was totally burnt out! From 2004 to 2006 I was sitting in front of my computer, at home studying business 10 hours per day and improving my skills. All my experiences were ON THE ROAD and my Business know how was simply grown up as self-educated professional. Ganesh Management Ltd. Is the sum of all my entire life and is totally inspired by all my personal necessities. I would like to help all people around me who want to take their life strongly in their claw. I feel that all people have the right to be supported to achieve their main goal to be independent, satisfied, with dignity, with equity and fairness… and profits as well! Be independent means to destroy every form of enslavement: politically, economically, and culturally.

Describe in a few word your business industry and also describe your company and it’s activity

Ganesh Management Ltd. is a multi branch company focused on 5 different market segments:

- Sponsorship/Investment/Donation (Profit and No Profit)

- Virtual Mall Web Portal

- Properties and Real States

- Brand, Fashion & Design

- Management and Business & Marketing Services

It’s a kind of professional network, supported by a well integrated web platform consisting in 5 web domains under the same brand. At the end of the second seeding phase the Company Corporation plan will be automatically and definitively ready to properly work.

What would be the key to your success and what are the steps you took in achieving this?

Ganesh Management Ltd. has the mission to be a useful tool in people’s hands. In our vision there is no difference between big and small business. We believe in the personal individual skills and possibilities and we’d like to be involved with very strong self-motivated people. Our power points are:

- Be clever and smart

- Right balance between risk/benefits

- High Problem Solving attitude

- Have a very reactive and effective professional network around us

- Have the right attitude to listen, to evaluate, to be positive, to be stimulating, to take in consideration every ideas, every plan.

- Your goal is our goal!

Everyone has some basic principles which they use to guide themselves in business. What are your principles?

My attitude is a mixture between the Christopher Colombo’s attitude and the Captain Acab (Moby Dick) profile… please take a look to their life and you’ll be right to discover the real meaning of this metaphor.

Which was the biggest business deal you ever made?

Actually the company is right to go at the second seeding phase and it means that isn’t the right time to talk about business deals. What I can say is that we have many important relationships and partnerships and all our ongoing projects are listed in the FOCUSON area into our own website.

Which was your biggest failure in business?

My biggest failure was to have around people acting as assistants or executive officers that weren’t so motivated. The monthly salary and benefits are not the right scope… I need much more. Unfortunately I’m not so capable to quickly understand the human profile about our collaborators or employees. My fault.

What are you business plans in the future? Will you extending your activity in other business industries as well?

Ganesh Management Ltd. plans are basically focused to seek funds or useful capitals to improve our web platform. The second priority is to provide capitals in terms of sponsors, investments, donation for all companies or no profit organizations listed in our planning on FOCUS ON web page. Last but not least we have in plan to build up a fashion & design factory concerning our own brand.

In your own opinion which would be the successful business industries in the future and why?

Good question! I’m sure that all industries could be successful but they have to remain focused on the local market (you have to spend your profits in your country) or they have to be focused on an international management and international relationships in order to be strong but always in relation to many different small economic entities. My opinion is that a multitude of small connected companies is stronger and economically stable than few big monopolistic companies sometime connected in partnership and sometime acting as hard competitors trying to remain as the final winner. It seems a war without the definitive winner. Usually people remain strangled in their big and intrusive decisions or faults. A big company could be incurring in big faults (i.e.: involving the entire world), a small company just in small faults. Actually the problem is that many people have good profitable ideas and plans and they don’t have capitals enough for their ventures, and anyone will put money in their projects. “Money calls money” it means that the major part of all investments are between big companies. I think that all will change when big investors or sponsors or donors will put their capitals in thousands of small business opportunities, cutting also the “risk of loss” level.

What is your take on the consultancy business and what do you know about the consultancy market in Romania?

Unfortunately I’m not so informed but what I know is that your country and others in your area are growing very fast and for us are truly interesting. My opinion is that the Consultancy is one of the most important power point for a brand new economy. It means to have more freelance professionals and fewer employees.

Could you offer please a few advices for the future to the young Romanian entrepreneurs and also to the Romanian companies?

Big responsibility but I’ll try: my advice is to have the right skills and personal attitude, not all universities are right to become a good professional. Your personal experiences are also so useful. Then, take in consideration your options: if you want to work nationally or internationally…is pretty different. Be smart, be positive and clever and be realistic. Don’t offer what the people don’t really need. Money are just a “way for”….not the main goal. Personally my suggestion is to work independently, be independent and don’t have just the expectation to receive your salary from someone else. I don’t think that is also so intelligent to invest just in Real State or Energy or Tech… fortunately there are many other sustainable things to do. Alternative green energies are also ok… all greens could be profitable and at the same time good for the environment and people as well. The matter is trying to understand in which ways people necessities are changed and why… that’s the point.

Some final words.

Be awake, focused and connected, share your ideas and know how, try to stimulate investors and don’t be shy to make your proposal. Ganesh Management Ltd. and partners are always available for you. Thanks to Beatrice and your readers!
