- Ukrainian Foreign Minister to address OSCE Permanent Council

VIENNA, 18 June 2010 - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko will address the OSCE Permanent Council on Tuesday.

The speech will focus on themes including Ukraine’s foreign policy priorities, the role of the OSCE in strengthening common security and Ukraine’s bid to chair the OSCE in 2013.

The Permanent Council is a main decision-making body of the 56-country OSCE. It meets weekly in Vienna to discuss developments in the OSCE area and to make appropriate decisions.

Journalists are invited to the speech, set to start at 11:00 on Tuesday, 22 June, in the Hofburg Congress Centre’s Neuer Saal. Minister Gryshchenko is expected to have a few minutes to answer journalists’ questions immediately upon leaving the Neuer Saal.

For admittance to the Hofburg Congress Centre, please bring your OSCE press badge or a valid press card to the security desk (main entrance from the Heldenplatz). Parking is available for the press during the event in the OSCE-reserved parking area on Heldenplatz. Temporary parking permits must be collected from the security desk.

- Serbian Foreign Minister to address Permanent Council

VIENNA, 18 June 2010 - Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will address the OSCE Permanent Council on Monday.

The Permanent Council is a main decision-making body of the 56-country OSCE. It meets weekly in Vienna to discuss developments in the OSCE area and to make appropriate decisions.

Journalists are invited to the speech, set to start at 15:00 on Monday, 21 June, in the Hofburg Congress Centre’s Neuer Saal. A news conference with Minister Jeremic will be held following the address in Room 201.

For admittance to the Hofburg Congress Centre, please bring your OSCE press badge or a valid press card to the security desk (main entrance from the Heldenplatz). Parking is available for the press during the event in the OSCE-reserved parking area on Heldenplatz. Temporary parking permits must be collected from the security desk.
