The account Femenmovement, posted on YouTube, was blocked without warning. All the videomaterial was destroyed. Channel FEMEN had a great success among the users of the YouTube. Videos from the account, were placed in the videos of the world’s leading broadcasters.

The women’s movement FEMEN expresses its outrage to the unprofessional actions of workers in the social video network YouTube.

The employees of the server showed a wooden approach to filtering videos for postering, puting equal sign between FEMEN and trivial erotica. These repressive actions are not compatible with the mission stated by YouTube.

"The women’s movement FEMEN forced to admit that the Internet cope more rare with the role of a refuge for freethinkers and more often make bans and censorships, where they are not relevant," - the movement’s leader FEMEN Anna Gutsol said.

Movement FEMEN prepare for a legal procedure to appeal actions of the YouTube. The women’s movement will do everything in order to receive an international evaluation towards the YouTube attitude to FEMEN.
