- Croatia hopes for a progress-filled June

The next accession conference with Croatia, scheduled for 18 June, could see the closure of multiple negotiating chapters, according to Dirk Lange, the European Commission’s chief negotiator with the candidate country.

- Commission proposes visa-free travel for citizens of Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina

On 27 May the European Commission adopted a proposal enabling citizens of Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina to travel to Schengen countries without needing a short-term visa.
