Dear readers,

Please be informed that today, at 5.45pm, the first episode of the fall cycle of ´ON THE PATH OF EUROPEAN FUNDS´ can be seen on Channel 1 of the Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT). This broadcast has been realized in cooperation with the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Croatia, the Central Office for Development Strategy and Coordination of EU Funds (CODEF) and HRT.

The purpose of the broadcast is to inform and educate viewers about EU funds and programmes in Croatia, present the experience of the beneficiaries and results of EU-funded projects, provide information on current calls for proposals and notify viewers of relevant websites.

Highlights of the first episode:

• How is the Blue World Institute from Veli Lošinj protecting marine species (such as dolphins) with the help of EU funds?

• ´Una – Source of Life´ – a Cross-border cooperation project between Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Re-runs can be seen on Mondays, around 10:30pm, on Channel 2 of HRT. The archive of broadcast episodes can be found on the websites of the Delegation and CODEF, 24 hours after broadcasting.

We would also like to draw your attention to the show Croatia Live – Euromagazine Live, which is going to be broadcast live from Zadar on Monday, 26 September at 4.25pm on Channel 1 of HRT. This special edition and a blend of two well-known shows is dedicated to the celebration of the European Day of Languages. It will host many interesting guests and provide information on languages in the EU and EU-funded projects in Zadar County.
