In Makhachkala, Dagestan, at 11am on Monday November 21st 2011, a demonstration against abductions and the abuse of power in the security agencies will be held on the square in front of the Avarski Theatre. The protest has been organised by the relatives of abducted Dagestani citizens. They hope to attract public attention to the tricky situation in the republic, and demand the authorities release the abducted persons. The demonstration has been permitted, and it is expected that 500 people will attend.
