Elana - BSE-Sofia Weekly Overview - Nov 30, 2007 Dec 03, 2007, 10:10 CET | Broker’s Report | SeeNews Market TrendThe market stepped higher after a volatile week. Most companies closed in the green on weekly basis. SOFIX added 6.97% on weekly basis whereas BG40 improved by 4.86%. The price-weighted index was boosted by Orgachim (ORGH) and Odessos (ODES) but is still away form its recent peak. The paint producer hit the level of BGN 715.00 but gains were unsustainable. The banking sector managed to attract the market’s attention and to erase some of its recent losses. The week was marked by the consolidated 3Q financial reports which could support the companies in short term. However, good reports are already known as most holdings have significant ownership in public companies. This week could be regarded as the reverse form the bottom and we expect that highs will be challenged until the year-end.
