Statement of President Barroso on the signature of the instrument of ratification in the Czech Republic

“I welcome that President Klaus has taken the crucial step of signing the instrument of ratification on the Treaty of Lisbon in the Czech Republic. It’s now absolutely clear that the Lisbon Treaty will enter into force soon. At this point in time; I want to pay tribute to all those who have worked hard in the 27 member states to make the Lisbon Treaty a reality. The road is now open for the consultations on the appointment of the President of the European Council and Vice-President of the Commission / High Representative to begin. This will in turn allow me to start the process of nominating the new Commission.”

“Pozdravljam činjenicu što je predsjednik Klaus poduzeo ključni korak potpisivanja instrumenta ratifikacije Lisabonskog ugovora u Republici Češkoj. Sada je sasvim jasno da će Lisabonski ugovor uskoro stupiti na snagu. U ovom trenutku želim odati priznanje svima koji su naporno radili u svih 27 država članica kako bi Lisabonski ugovor postao stvarnost. Sada je otvoren put za početak konsultacija o imenovanju predsjednika Evropskog vijeća i potpredsjednika Komisije / Visokog predstavnika. Ovime ću i ja moći započeti proces imenovanja nove Komisije.”

ICE: A ROMA UN BUSINESS FORUM PER PRESENTARE LE OPPORTUNITA’ DI COLLABORAZIONE ECONOMICO –INDUSTRAILE CON IL KAZAKHSTAN Oltre 130 le aziende italiane partecipanti, più di 200 B2B organizzati

Roma, 4 novembre 2009 – Sono oltre 130 le aziende italiane che hanno partecipato oggi, nella sede romana dell’Istituto nazionale per il commercio Estero, al Forum imprenditoriale organizzato dall’ICE in occasione della visita di Stato in Italia del Presidente della Repubblica del Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

All’evento, organizzato per presentare la realtà economico-commerciale del Kazakhstan, hanno preso parte fra gli altri il Ministro dell’Industria e del Commercio kazako, Aset Isekeshev, il Sottosegretario allo Sviluppo Economico, Stefano Saglia, il Presidente della SIMEST, Giancarlo Lanna, il Presidente dell’ICE, Umberto Vattani ed il Direttore Generale, Massimo Mamberti,

Il Forum ha avuto l’obiettivo di fornire alle imprese italiane partecipanti un’occasione per conoscere direttamente dalle Autorità kazake i progetti di sviluppo del Paese e le opportunità di collaborazione economico-industriale per le imprese dei due Paesi, in particolare nei settori dell’ energia, della finanza, delle costruzioni, delle infrastrutture, dell’ agricoltura, dell’ aerospazio. del tessile/abbigliamento, dell’engineering, delle attrezzature mediche/odontoiatriche, del turismo e della ristorazione.

Al termine dei lavori sono stati sottoscritti otto fra memorandum d’intesa e protocolli d’intenti nei campi delle infrastrutture, della produzione di materiali da costruzione, nel settore dell’estrazione di gas e petrolio e nel campo dell’abbigliamento. Nel pomeriggio si sono svolti oltre 200 incontri bilaterali fra le 130 imprese italiane e le 70 imprese kazake partecipanti al Forum.
