- GLOBAL COMPACT NETWORK CALLS FOR PARTICIPANTS IN KYIV ’GREEN OFFICE’ WORKSHOP
On 1 November 2011, a "Green Office" workshop being organized by the Global Compact Network Ukraine with the support of Ernst & Young and the Ukrainian "Green Wave" ecology club will take place at the Kyiv Mohyla Business School (8/5 Voloska St., Kyiv). Organizers will conduct a practical workshop for both the professionally community - to inspire them into bringing "green" offices into being - and office administrative personnel.
During this event all participants will get in-depth answers to their questions on creating a "green" office and a host of practical solutions for creating green offices.

- METINVEST ESTIMATES SOCIAL INVESTMENTS IN FIRST HALF OF 2011 AT UAH 400 MLN
Metinvest, a vertically integrated mining and metals group of companies, has assessed its consolidated efforts in terms of social investments for the first half of 2011, putting the figure for social, sponsorship, charity and corporate programs nationwide at almost UAH 400 million.
Total expenditures on Metinvest’s staff is exceeded 3.6 billion UAH and the average salary for the same period is amounted to 4012 UAH. Company investments into improving the level and quality of life in regions, where the company operates its businesses, was estimated at UAH 19.5 million and investments in urban infrastructure at UAH 2.7 million. - KYIVSTAR PRESENTS 2010 CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY REPORT
Kyivstar has released its corporate responsibility report for 2010, illustrating the results of the company’s performance in the economic, social and environmental spheres. Kyivstar’s efforts as regards corporate responsibility include building strong relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external) and environmental stewardship.
