Buzek welcomes arrest of Mladic

BELGRADE, May 26 (Tanjug) - President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek welcomed the arrest of former commander of Republika Srpska Army Ratko Mladic. Mladic’s arrest is a proof of Serbia’s efforts in cooperation with the ICTY, Burzek said. Burzek pointed out that the arrest of Mladic is good news for Serbia and regional stability, and that it will be an impetus for Serbia’s EU integration process. At the same time Burzek recalled that Hadzic is still at large and that all possible efforts should be made to arrest and bring him to justice.
