17:00 GMT, November 26, 2010 On 23 November, the Belarusian Defence Ministry hosted an accreditation meeting between Col. Igor Zarovkin, chief of the international military cooperation directorate, and Gen. Vincenzo Iannuccelli, defence, military and air attache at the Embassy of Italy in Belarus.
In the course of the meeting the parties discussed the issues of military cooperation between Belarus and Italy.
The representatives of the two defence ministries confirmed their intentions to strengthen and develop cooperation in many spheres including peacekeeping, where the Italian armed forces have a broad experience.
