The purpose and the task of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan for the nearest years is every kind of assistance to the enhancing of the market reforms. One of the most important conditions for the providing of the sustainable development of Tajikistan on the way of the social- economic progress, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan see in the attraction of the foreign investments and domestic savings into the economics. For this purpose was founded the legal base which appropriates to the principles of the market economic, which provides the development of the small and medium business, favorable conditions for the attraction of the foreign investments, the support of the market structures, including finance-bank system.

The laws are in force in the Republic, which guarantee the protection and the profitability of the foreign investments into the economy of Tajikistan. There were adopted the measures, directed to the providing of the equal protection of the rights, interests and the property of the subjects of the investment’s activity, despite of the form of activity.

There was adopted the program of the state investments, which includes the projects, which to be considered most priority. Among the priorities, we should note such vital for us spheres, as Hydro energy, mining industry, mining and processing of precious metals and stones, complex ores, the development of telecommunications, tourism, chemical and light industry, machine building, reprocessing of the cotton, cocoon, raw leather, wool, and also vegetables and fruits, construction of the roads and communication, education, healthcare and supply of pure potable water, manpower development for business.

Despite of that 93 % of the territory of the country are occupied by mountains, there is a great deal of land and water in the country, soil-climatic conditions which are favorable for growing of high quality, ecologically clean horticultural and vegetable goods, and also another high profitable technical cultures. The industry is presented almost by 100 fields. Electric capacity with the possibility output of 527 billion kilowatt-hours of energy, Tajikistan has one of the most leading positions in the world in hydro energy resources.

Founded 50 years ago, on 30th of March, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, nowadays proudly presents the Republic of Tajikistan in the international community, which is confirmed by membership in international Chamber of Commerce, ECO, International Council on cooperation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of CIS countries, Baltic countries, Central and Eastern Europe, Asian-Pacific, in World and Islamic Chambers.

Nowadays the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan unites enterprises and organizations, which work in the different fields of the economics and business. Due to efforts of the Chamber Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan many enterprises of the Republic being its members are participating in international exhibitions and fairs, workshops, conferences, business forum thereby contributing in the development of cooperation.

We are interested in the perspectives of the technological and investments cooperation, new technologies and equipments, attraction of the direct investments into the real sector of the economics of the Republic, in long-term preferential bank credits and cooperation in trade- economic and financial spheres.

From our side we will strive to contribute maximally into the enhancing and strengthening of the trade-economics and investment cooperation of the Republic of Tajikistan with all countries purposefully assist to entrepreneurial structures, business circle in all their good initiatives.
